Zach Bitter - Running 100 Miles and setting a WORLD RECORD
Check out this new podcast with Buff athlete Zach Bitter. If you don’t know Zach, he holds a couple of running records. He went out one day and ran 100 miles on a track in the fastest time ever recorded, 11 hours, 19 minutes and 13 seconds!
Few people reading this can match his pace of 6:47 for a few miles, not to mention 100 miles straight. This is an inhuman accomplishment in my mind. To make things more interesting, Zach has bucked the conventional thinking of a high carbohydrate diet for ultra runners and eats a very low carb diet.
This episode digs deep into mindset and how the things learned during a workout or long training run can transfer over into every day life. Check this one out whether you are an ultra runner, fishing guide, or someone who may have a desire to go from couch to 5k.
